The exposition category can be updated from iMIS to EXPOCAD, or from EXPOCAD to iMIS as long as orders have not been entered for the exposition. After orders have been entered, the category may not be updated.
1. Select Expo> Define/Plan Exposition to open the Available Expositions window.
2. Double-click the exposition you want to change. The Exposition Definition window opens.
3. Click the Edit button on the palette.
4. Enable the appropriate Exposition Category.
Note: If you change the category from iMIS to EXPOCAD and there is booth inventory or a wait list, a message warns that changing Exposition Category from iMIS to EXPOCAD will result in deletion of existing Booth Inventory and Wait Lists for the current Exposition, and asks whether you wish to proceed. Click Yes or No.
5. Click OK.
Changing an Exposition Category from iMIS to EXPOCAD will result in the following system changes for the selected exposition:
■ Deletes Booth Inventory (Product_Lot records for current exposition)
■ Deletes Wait List (Exhb_Wait_List records for current exposition)
■ Deletes Booth Preferences (Exhb_Booth records for current exposition)
■ Sets Max. Available Booth to zero (Product_Function.MAXIMUM_ATTENDANCE)
Changing an Exposition Category from EXPOCAD to iMIS will result in the following system change for the selected exposition:
■ Deletes all EXPOCAD Product Mapping (ExpoCad_Prod records for current exhibition)
